A little background on Christian Bauer & John Bourke

We made London our home in 2004. Christian has a hotel and property management background and John is an entrepreneur with green fingers who has been designing gardens for the past fifteen years.

Before establishing Premier London Property with John Bourke, Christian was Director of Operations at The Waldorf Hilton and the London Hilton on Park Lane. Most recently he was General Manager with overall responsibility for the smooth operation of both hard and soft services at Barclays’ Global HQ in Canary Wharf.

 “Design has always been a passion of mine but working in 5 star hotels has allowed me to travel worldwide, broadening my horizon and developing my keen eye for detail. Having had the opportunity to manage refurbishment projects of all sizes (up to 30 million pounds at the Waldorf), working with challenging time lines and tight budgets but at the same time achieving the best value for money without compromising 5 star quality has become second nature to me”.

John has an interior & garden design background. Before moving from Dublin to London his house & garden were open to the public for over 10 years. He was chairman of the Dublin Garden Group and a founding member of the Great Gardens of Ireland. John has an incredible eye for detail and keeps up to date with the latest trends, translating them into his very own and unique style.
